TRC Talent is looking for a Senior Accountant for our client in Kennesaw, GA!
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team in Kennesaw, GA! This role is responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate general ledger activity and timely financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to support financial operations, reporting, budgeting, inventory management, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounts payable functions, including new vendor setup, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
Ensure customer receivable accounts are maintained accurately and financial risk is minimized.
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of company expenses.
Manage all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including tracking additions and disposals.
Partner with other departments to provide financial guidance and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Maintain and monitor inventory valuation accuracy.
Assist in developing and implementing new accounting procedures, processes, and internal controls.
Prepare recurring financial and analytical reports for management review.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Prepare documentation and schedules for year-end audits.
Maintain effective communication across departments regarding accounting objectives, policies, and changes.
Support leadership with special projects, financial analysis, and reporting requirements.
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software.
Ability to analyze and manipulate large volumes of financial data.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-based business environment is a plus.
