Summary
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent full-time day shift opportunity in Peterborough, NH. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient internal medicine setting. The position requires nursing experience, as new graduates are not being accepted at this time. Candidates should be actively planning to relocate to New Hampshire.

Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on rotation
Saturday rotation required
No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to coordinate and deliver individualized patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient conditions, treatments, and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Monitor patients and promptly communicate changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Provide emotional support and advocate for patients' rights and needs.
- Teach and direct LPNs and Medical Assistants regarding delegated clinical responsibilities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with medical advancements, nursing practices, and industry standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- NH or Compact license required.
- BLS certification – AHA required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Nursing experience required; new graduates are not accepted at this time.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff.
- Med/Surg or internal medicine experience preferred.
- Must be actively planning to relocate to New Hampshire if not currently located in the area.
