Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dietary Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional meal services within a hospital setting. This role involves preparing food orders, ensuring accuracy in meal requests, and assisting with the efficient delivery of meals to patients.

Responsibilities

• Organize and print order tickets, ensuring they are accurately placed on food trays.
• Prepare meal trays according to patient requests, including dietary restrictions and specific drink preferences.
• Verify that special meals prepared by cooks match the required specifications before they are delivered.
• Ensure proper labeling of meals for tray passing.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food preparation and food service.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with the delivery team.
• Proficiency in using iPads or computers for order management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and hospitality.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Customer service experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windham, CT.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
