Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a preschool disabilities classroom in Salem, NJ for the upcoming school year. The teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to young learners with diverse developmental and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and developmentally appropriate instruction in a preschool special education setting.

• Develop and implement lessons aligned with student IEP goals.

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed.

• Support students' academic, developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

• Collaborate with related service providers, classroom staff, families, and school administrators.

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.

• Create a safe, structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Special Education teaching experience preferred.

• Experience working with preschool-aged students and/or students with disabilities preferred.

• New Jersey Special Education certification/licensure preferred.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
