Full Time School Psychologist near Phoenix, AZ

Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development while collaborating closely with educators, families, and other school professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Administer, score, and interpret appropriate psychological and educational assessments
• Prepare evaluation reports and communicate assessment results to families and school teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and related service providers
• Provide consultation regarding students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Assist with developing appropriate interventions and recommendations based on evaluation results
• Monitor student progress and help identify strategies to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Support a positive and inclusive school environment

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification/credential
• Experience conducting school-based evaluations and re-evaluations preferred
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Knowledge of special education eligibility and IEP processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
