Activities is the "fun" department of senior living! Enjoy bringing a smile to a resident's face as you help him/her stay engaged physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively as an ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT at Covenant Woods Retirement (independent and assisted living) in Columbus, GA.

We invite a resident-focused, energetic Activities Assistant to support and encourage our residents.

We want people with a genuine love for seniors!

FULLTIME
Availability for weekends, holidays and evenings as needed


Ideal Candidate for ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT:

• Friendly, approachable personality
• Fun, energetic, positive, outgoing
• Ability to be on your feet and on-the-go majority of the day
• Patient
• Good communication skills
• Experience with seniors a plus
• Driving experience for bus and van a plus

Tasks to Serve Residents as ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT :

• Assist residents with activities
• Encourage participation in activities
• Set up and run a wide variety of games and activities
