Description:
We are growing our team and looking for therapists interested in helping clients with SUD and co-occurring disorders. Play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disorders. Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate complexities in their lives, offering support that fosters personal growth and healing.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Conduct initial consultations and mental health assessments.
§ Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
§ Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions.
§ Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and others.
§ Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
§ Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
§ Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
§ Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in psychotherapy.
§ Offer crisis intervention and emergency counseling as needed.
§ Participate in continuous professional development and supervision.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in clinical therapy with diverse populations.
Specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with electronic health records and case management documentation.
Cultural competency and sensitivity in dealing with clients from various backgrounds.
Ability to handle stressful situations and provide effective crisis intervention.
Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent state licensure.
Minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience.
Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and ethical guidelines.
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using therapeutic assessment tools and techniques.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
State licensure or certification as a mental health therapist.
§ Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field.
§ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent state licensure.
