As a Wound Nurse, you will work closely with residents, families, and the clinical team to provide exceptional wound care and support healing while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Assess complex wounds upon admission and throughout treatment
Clean and dress wounds to promote healing and prevent infection
Develop and implement wound treatment plans
Monitor wound healing progress and communicate changes with the care team
Educate residents and caregivers on wound care and prevention techniques
Complete accurate documentation for patient records and insurance purposes
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect
Current Illinois LPN or RN license required
Passion for wound care and long-term care nursing
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented caregiver
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to providing genuine hometown care
Enthusiastic about helping others and supporting resident recovery
