- Work closely with the Center Director to manage the daily operations of the school. Be prepared to take ownership, solve problems, and confidently oversee the center in the Director’s absence.
- Maintain accurate and complete child and employee files, enrollment paperwork, licensing documentation, attendance records, and other required administrative records. Follow through on assigned responsibilities without needing constant oversight.
- Help ensure the center remains fully compliant with all health and safety procedures, company policies, and local and state licensing regulations. Conduct regular classroom checks and address concerns immediately.
- Support staffing needs by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and holding employees accountable.
- Build positive relationships with teachers while maintaining clear professional expectations.
- Be visible and actively involved throughout the school. Step into classrooms, assist with breaks, support teachers, help maintain ratios, and respond wherever needed to keep the center operating successfully.
- Guide and support teachers in implementing TLE’s proprietary curriculum and maintaining engaging, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environments.
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for current and prospective families. Respond promptly to leads, conduct engaging tours, follow up consistently, complete enrollment paperwork, and help convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Build strong relationships with enrolled families by communicating effectively, addressing concerns promptly, and supporting family satisfaction and retention.
- Assist with tuition collection, accounts receivable, payroll review, purchasing, employee timekeeping, and other administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Center Director or ownership.
- Support enrollment growth by helping plan and execute school events, family engagement activities, open houses, and community marketing efforts.
- Demonstrate strong organization, urgency, follow-through, and attention to detail. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires balancing front-office responsibilities with active support throughout the entire center.
- Have two or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year of center leadership/management experience (required).
- Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (highly preferred).
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
