Position: PipefitterWe're seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team. Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
- Reading blueprints and planning work from start to finish using safe and efficient work practices.
- Laying out, installing, repairing, and modifying shipboard piping systems and supports.
- Cutting, threading, bending, and fitting pipe using hand and power tools.
- Installing and connecting piping to pumps, tanks, radiators, galley equipment, and other shipboard systems.
- Welding or bolting pipe supports and completing required fit-up documentation.
- Performing hydrostatic and pressure testing to verify system integrity.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- At least 2 years of Pipefitter experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Pipefitter tools, equipment, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
