New Vanderbilt Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced PRN Dietary Supervisor to join the team. Responsibilities of the Dietary Supervisor:

• Assures that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and ensure that the dining services department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Determines quality and quantity of food required; plans menus and controls food costs; may be scheduled to prepare meals.
• Oversees the food preparation and cooking, to ensure meals are prepared per company procedures.
• Maintains inventory of food and nonfood items.

Requirements of the Dietary Supervisor:

• Must have experience in a long-term care setting.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Must have food handler license in NY.
