Member Dining Server - Sherwood Country Club

The legendary Sherwood Country Club is a private member owned golf and country club in beautiful Thousand Oaks California set at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains. Sherwood is home to a championship 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, driving range, and two Georgian style golf and tennis clubhouses. Sherwood is seeking an experienced Server, who has worked in fine dining. Must have the ability to serve beverages, suggestively sell menu items and wines, perform basic bartending duties as required such as stock and operate bar, prepare cocktails, cut garnish, stock operating supplies. Banquets experience is a plus. Come and work in a beautiful atmosphere with a hard working team! Must be at least 21 years of age.

Essential job responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests
• Take orders for beverage and food
• Deliver food and beverage to tables
• Bus and reset tables
• Stock and clean work area
• Prepare beverages, ensuring member satisfaction
• Have thorough knowledge of menus
• Operate Point-of-Sale computer system
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Reports to: Assistant Clubhouse Manager

Skills Required:

Current ServSafe Certified
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent appearance and grooming standards
Wine knowledge
Spirit knowledge, (POS) skills

At least 21 years of age

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
