Dietary Aide

· Set up trays and tables as required.

· Serves in dining room as required.

· Buses trays and dining room as required.

· Assists in preparing portioning covering and dating of food.

· Uses and cleans food service equipment and work areas and follows all cleaning schedules as directed.

· Serves all patients meals according to the written instructions provided i.e. menus and meals patterns.

· Demonstrates proper food handling.

· Delivers food and supplies to nursing units and diet kitchen as required.

· Sorts and places dishes into dish machine and follow proper operated procedure as required.

· Performs proper floor care procedures.

· Transports dishes in a safe manner as required.

· Identifies problems in ware wishing process and discusses with food service director.

· Handles and transports food trucks respective wings picks up and returns food truck to the kitchen after completion of meal service.

· Observes infection control Procedure is related to the dietary department.

· Follows residents rights policies at all time.

· Follows facility and department safety and security programs.

· Full assigned duties scheduled in a cooperative manner.

· Follow oral directions.

· Attends and service training programs for food service employees.

· Observes proper techniques of body mechanics in performing physical labor.

· Works cooperatively with food service staff and other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be able to read, write and understand English. Other languages are helpful.

· Must be covid vaccinated plus the booster
