The Grand Richmond at Brook Run is currently seeking a PRN Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA!

Must be a licensed Physical Therapist.

The Grand Richmond at Brook Run is a Senior Living Community that offers independent living located in the town of Lakeside, Virginia.

Job Title: Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager

Location: Richmond, VA

Reports To: Facility Executive Director/Property Manager

Status: PRN, 15-20 hours a week

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and leadership-oriented Physical Therapist (PT) to serve as our Outpatient Rehab Manager. In this dual-capacity role, you will provide exceptional direct patient care while overseeing the daily operations of the rehab. You will be the bridge between clinical excellence and business growth, ensuring our team remains motivated and our patients achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily clinic workflow, including scheduling, staffing levels, and patient flow.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as arrival rates, units per visit, and therapist productivity.
  • Ensure the facility maintains a high standard of cleanliness and equipment safety.

2. Staff Management & Mentorship

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.
  • Foster a collaborative environment through regular staff meetings and one-on-one check-ins.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new hires and students.

3. Direct Patient Care

  • Maintain a reduced clinical caseload (typically 60-70% of a full-time schedule).
  • Perform evaluations (if PT) or treatments (if PTA) with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  • Model exceptional documentation habits and compliance with all regulatory bodies.

4. Business Development & Community Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with local referring physicians and community partners.
  • Identify opportunities for program development (e.g., sports medicine, pelvic health, or geriatric programs).

Qualifications & Skills

Requirement

Description

Education

Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

Licensure

Active state license (PT) in good standing.

Experience

3+ years of clinical Out-patient experience; 1+ year in a supervisory or 'lead' role preferred.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of Medicare/Insurance billing and HIPAA compliance.

Soft Skills

Excellent conflict resolution, time management, and 'lead-by-example' mentality.
