Personal Injury Paralegal

Orangeburg personal injury law firm seeks an experienced paralegal to join their thriving office.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up claim, compiles evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases
• Interview clients, third parties, and expert witnesses
• Prepare legal documents for attorney's approval
• Maintain document control system
• Oversee cases by managing files and documents
• Coordinate with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts.
• Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience Personal Injury
• Litigation experience a plus
• Case Management software experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Analyze & summarize medical records
• Dealing with Complex issues
• Legal Research and Writing Skills
• Multi-tasking
• Detail Oriented/Highly Organized
• Maintain Client Relationships
• Workers' Compensation a plus
