Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency founded in 2015 and led by industry experts (BCBAs & LCSWs). For the past decade, we’ve proudly supported children in the Special Education community with formal diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our mission is to help students and their families by providing direct, in-home and in-community ABA therapeutic services. Using the principles and practices of ABA, we empower children to grow in communication, adaptability, resilience, and independence.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Behavior Technician to work with a 12-year-old male client in Great Neck, NY (11024).

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday: after 3:00 PM

  • Weekends: flexible availability

Expectations of a Special Education Behavior Technician
  • Apply ABA principles to study and support student behavior

  • Utilize communication and redirection strategies to encourage progress

  • Provide written documentation and daily session notes

  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with families, supervisors, and coworkers

  • Engage in professional feedback loops and seek supervision when needed

  • Support the student in following an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals


Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Areas of study in psychology, education, ABA, or a related field

  • RBT Certification (or willingness to pursue)

  • Experience working with children (experience with ASD strongly preferred)

  • Strong communication, adaptability, and professionalism

  • Proven reliability in documentation and scheduling
