Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (school hours may vary by campus)

What You'll Do

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll help ensure students continue learning in a safe, structured, and engaging classroom while their regular teacher is away.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver instruction using teacher-provided lesson plans
  • Create a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behavior and encourage student participation
  • Supervise students throughout the school day
  • Take attendance and maintain accurate classroom records
  • Communicate with school administrators and staff as needed
  • Follow district policies, campus procedures, and school expectations
What We're Looking For
  • Meet the substitute teacher eligibility requirements of the assigned school district, including a minimum of 60 college credit hours
  • Previous experience working with children, tutoring, coaching, or in an educational setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments
  • Professional, dependable, punctual, and positive
  • Ability to follow lesson plans, school policies, and district procedures
  • Successfully complete all required background checks and district onboarding requirements
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned school campuses
  • Ability to stand, walk, and actively supervise students throughout the school day
  • A genuine passion for supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment
