Restoration 1 of Chicago Southland is a family-owned restoration company looking for a working Team Lead—someone who can lead from the front, not from the sidelines.

This is not an entry-level role. We need a hands-on leader who knows mitigation work, understands standards, and can keep jobs moving while taking care of customers and the crew.

What You’ll Do

• Lead mitigation jobs (water, fire, mold, odor) from setup to dry-out
  
  
• Direct and support technicians on site
  
  
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, adjusters, and property managers
  
  
• Set and monitor equipment properly (air movers, dehus, containment, etc.)
  
  
• Ensure work is completed to IICRC standards and company expectations
  
  
• Maintain job documentation (photos, notes, moisture readings)
  
  
• Keep the truck, equipment, and job sites clean and professional
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years restoration/mitigation experience (preferred)
  
  
• Prior leadership or lead-tech experience preferred
  
  
• Strong understanding of water mitigation processes and dry-out principles
  
  
• IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD/FSRT/MRST a plus—or willingness to earn)
  
  
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
  
  
• Calm under pressure, professional with customers, firm but fair with crew
  
  
• Someone who takes ownership and finishes what they start
