United Talent Staffing is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Equipment Parts Counter Sales Specialist for an established company in the Uniontown, PA area. The ideal candidate will have previous parts experience or a strong mechanical mindset, excellent computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience
- Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday Schedule: A few Saturdays per month, 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Employees scheduled on Saturday will receive a day off during the week
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with identifying and ordering the correct parts
- Research parts using computerized systems, catalogs, and diagrams
- Process customer orders, quotes, payments, returns, and special orders
- Answer questions and provide helpful product recommendations
- Check pricing, availability, and order status
- Communicate with vendors and follow up on backordered items
- Receive, organize, and stock incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory and customer records
- Keep the parts counter and inventory areas organized
- Work closely with customers, service personnel, and other team members
- Manage multiple customers and responsibilities while maintaining accuracy
Qualifications
- Previous parts counter, parts sales, automotive, equipment, or industrial experience is preferred
- Candidates with strong mechanical knowledge or aptitude will also be considered
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable learning part numbers, inventory systems, and product information
- Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to safely lift and move parts or inventory as needed
