Job Summary:
Advanceable ABA VA is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team! As a BT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality ABA therapy services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are committed to delivering exceptional care and support, and we're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavioral interventions and strategies under the supervision of a certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress
Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement client treatment plans
Maintain accurate and thorough records of client progress and services provided
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in ABA, psychology, or a related field preferred
0 years of experience in ABA or a related field (new graduates welcome to apply!)
Ability to pass a thorough background check and obtain any required certifications or licenses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
