General Manager

Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour + Benefits

45 hour work week

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations.
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees.
  • Schedule staff while managing labor costs and productivity.
  • Monitor inventory, place food and supply orders, and control food costs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory using FIFO practices.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and coordinate repairs when needed.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and corrective action when appropriate.
  • Build a positive, engaging work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
  • Partner with district leadership to achieve sales and operational goals.
  • Travel to nearby restaurant locations as business needs require.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service (QSR) or Fast Casual.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams.
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and food cost controls.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.



Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Comfortable working around hot equipment, cold storage, and slippery surfaces.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
