General Manager

The Sports Pod. Co
Dallas, TX, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description

General Manager – The Sports Pod (Dallas, TX)

You’re not just applying for a job—you’re stepping into a leadership role at one of the most unique sports medicine clinics in the country.

At The Sports Pod, we don’t just treat athletes. We care for them, connect with them, and elevate their experience like a 5-star boutique hotel meets performance rehab. We’re obsessed with service, driven by results, and powered by the belief that unreasonable hospitality changes everything.

Now, we’re looking for a General Manager who’s equal parts people leader, operational ninja, and brand visionary to help us scale what we do.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Team Leadership & Culture: You’ll oversee our team of sports chiropractors, massage therapists, strength coaches, and VAs—building human connection, giving feedback, and holding the standard.
  • Operations & Systems: You’ll ensure daily clinic flow runs like clockwork—think scheduling, onboarding, inventory, and accountability. Chaos? Not on your watch.
  • Marketing & Branding: You’ll own the social media calendar, newsletters, and clinic storytelling. This includes making sure our TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook are consistent, exciting, and on-brand.
  • Hiring & Recruiting: You’ll lead our search for top-tier LMTs, therapists, and support staff. Think creatively. Hustle smart. Use your network.
  • Hospitality & Experience: You’ll embody and implement the values of Unreasonable Hospitality—from first impressions to athlete surprises to turning small moments into big memories.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You’re not here to be micromanaged. You show up with ideas, solutions, and energy. You manage yourself.
  • You’re organized as hell. You know how to run a Notion board, keep calendars clean, and juggle a dozen priorities without letting things drop.
  • You’re a doer and a leader. You jump in when the team needs help—but also step back and think strategically.
  • You understand athletes and high-performers. Maybe you’ve worked in a clinic, gym, or hospitality setting. You know how to manage egos, timelines, and intensity.
  • You get what it means to run a business. You understand margins, resource allocation, and what makes a clinic profitable and scalable.

Details:

  • Location: Dallas, TX (in-person role)
  • Schedule: Full-time (M-F), some flexibility required
  • Compensation: Based on experience, with growth potential and bonuses tied to clinic performance
  • Perks: Access to care, discounts, close proximity to greatness, and a lot of behind-the-scenes action in a growing company that thinks differently.
