5:30am-1:30pm and 2pm-7pm
At Sandwich Living and Rehab LLC, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook to join our team!
Job Summary:
As a Dietary Cook at Sandwich Living and Rehab LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met by preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals in accordance with our high standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our Food Service Supervisor and Administrator to ensure that all meals and snacks are prepared and served in a timely and appetizing manner.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals and snacks for residents and staff, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Manage food inventory, ordering and receiving supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Assist in maintaining the dietary department's budget and records
• Collaborate with Food Service Supervisor and Administrator to ensure compliance with facility standards and regulations
• Possess a food service and sanitation license and/or certification
• Lift up to 50 pounds
Requirements:
• 1 year of experience as a cook or in a related field
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and prepare foods, liquids, and dietary methods
• Familiarity with seasoning, cooking time required, and characteristics of various cuts of meat, poultry, fish, grains, fruits, and vegetables
