Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our part-time team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting and develop your skills in patient relations, phone etiquette, and basic administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients, families, and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and providing information as needed
Manage the flow of patient traffic, including scheduling appointments and updating patient records
Provide basic administrative support to healthcare professionals, including preparing documents and completing tasks as assigned
Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing and records
Utilize EMR system to update patient information and retrieve information as needed
Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the clinical team
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems
