Pharmacy Assistant
LOCATION
Fort Worth, TX 76177 | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $18.50/hour (W2)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (occasional Tuesday–Saturday rotation)
• Saturday Shift: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM when scheduled
• Training Schedule: First week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT
Join a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment team that helps ensure medications and patient supplies are packaged, shipped, and delivered accurately and on time. Success in this role is measured by attention to detail, shipping accuracy, inventory organization, and collaboration with the pharmacy team while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Package, prepare, and ship medications, supplies, and patient information according to company procedures and pharmacy regulations.
• Review shipping manifests, verify delivery information, and coordinate shipping updates with the pharmacy team.
• Perform shipping, packing, inventory, filing, restocking, and data entry while maintaining organized records.
• Maintain a clean, organized packing and storage area, reconcile shipping documentation, and assist with daily operational tasks.
• Support inventory management, secure designated work areas at the end of each shift, and provide excellent internal customer service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with shipping, packing, and dock work required.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Stand and walk for up to 95% of the workday.
• Lift, move, and handle boxes and packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Work in a warehouse and pharmacy fulfillment environment with frequent packing, shipping, inventory, and cleaning responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation is required for this onsite position.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in mail service, specialty pharmacy, or mortgage/clerical environments with inventory responsibilities.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Positive work ethic with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to work well in a team.
