The Unarmed Security Guard for Special Events plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of attendees by providing vigilant patrols, managing access points, and effectively handling crowd control. Working primarily at local events with a large security team, this role requires collaboration with event managers and security supervisors to ensure a smooth and secure event environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol event premises to monitor for suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify credentials
• Manage crowds to ensure orderly conduct and safety
• De-escalate conflicts and handle incidents calmly
• Enforce safety protocols and event regulations
• Interact professionally with clients and attendees
• Support event operations with mixed duty assignments
• Report to Event Manager and Security Supervisor as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in security services
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Security Guard License where applicable
• Proficiency in surveillance and crowd control techniques
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Attention to detail
