CDL Truck Driver-Knuckle Boom

Rockingham Precast is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) with a rear mounted knuckle boom lift. The ideal candidate will be able to operate the flatbed truck along with the remote controlled knuckle boom in the act of delivering precast products to jobsites. Deliveries are local, Monday thru Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a rear mounted Knuckle Boom Truck
• Load, secure, and unload cargo using remote controlled knuckle boom
• Navigate and safely operate the truck on uneven jobsites
• Work independently without direct supervision
• Maintain clean and safe equipment.
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Class B Commercial Drivers License
• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Ability to make decsions concerning the safety of the driver and equpment
• Experience in crane operation, rigging, or recovery
• Clean driving record for the previous 3 years
• Ability to handle physical workload in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic
