Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mason and Laborer role based in Jacksonville, FL. The Mason and Laborer will assist with preparing work areas, mixing mortar or concrete, and handling bricks, blocks, and other materials for masonry projects. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, operating basic hand tools, cleaning and maintaining job sites, and supporting masons with layout, alignment, and installation of masonry structures. The role also involves following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and helping with basic repairs and maintenance as needed. The position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and collaborating with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in masonry, construction, or general labor work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, carrying materials, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment (training may be provided).
• Commitment to following safety guidelines, using protective gear, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Reliable transportation to the Jacksonville, FL job site and willingness to work full-time hours.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but relevant experience may be considered.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers; bilingual skills are a plus
