Padgett Business Advisors is seeking an experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our growing Indianapolis team. We're looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with small business owners and helping them achieve their financial goals.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of recent public accounting experience working with small businesses and possess strong technical expertise in both tax preparation and business advisory services.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review business and individual income tax returns.
- Provide proactive tax planning and strategic tax advice.
- Advise small business clients on financial, operational, and business growth matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
- Collaborate with our advisory and accounting teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required.
- 5-7 years of recent CPA firm/public accounting experience.
- Extensive experience preparing business and individual income tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of tax planning strategies for small businesses.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
