Hourly Rate: $27.12/hour

Employment Type: Casual/Seasonal Internship/Externship

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Maximum of 29.75 hours per week.

What You'll Learn

What You'll Do

Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, you will:

  • Assist with clinical assessments and treatment interventions.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Monitor client progress and assist with recommendations for continued care.
  • Prepare accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, reports, and case summaries.
  • Collaborate with youth, families, community partners, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Observe administrative and supervisory functions within a behavioral health setting.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards while protecting client confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be within two months of graduating or possess a Master's degree or higher in Behavioral or Social Science or a closely related field.
  • Be pursuing clinical licensure with the intent to obtain Delaware independent licensure (LCSW, LPC-MH, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent) within one year.
  • Be seeking an externship to apply academic knowledge in a clinical behavioral health setting.
  • Have one year of clinical experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Have one year of experience completing clinical documentation, including narrative report writing.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
