Level One Medication Aide

Salem Residential Care is URGENTLY hiring for Full-time and Part-time certified and non-certified L1MA's.

Specific needs:

• Part time for every other weekend 7am-3pm (2 positions)
• Full time for every weekend 7am-3pm.

If you are not already certified, we will train you to get your certifications. Shifts are 8 hours with rotating weekends. Starting pay is $15 unless you are currently certified. We look forward to seeing you!

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

• Administer oral, topical, and eye/ear drop medications following the "five rights" (patient, medication, route, time, dose).
• Accurately record medication administration, refusals, and observations in the Medication Administration Record (MAR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report any changes in condition immediately to a licensed nurse.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and bathing, as well as providing mobility support.
• Follow all infection control protocols and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as assigned.
