Summary
We are seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team at the Hospital Authority of Columbus, GA. In this pivotal role, you will oversee CNA/CMA's and ensure that residents receive the highest standard of care in a long-term care setting. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe and effective environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Advise CNA/CMA's and coordinate resident care activities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Assess resident's needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- RN or LPN license required (Georgia or compact license).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and long-term care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
