Deburr Technician
Job Description
Role Overview
As a Deburr Technician, you provide the "finishing touch" on our products. You will use precision hand tools to smooth rough edges and ensure every machined part meets our strict quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Precision Finishing: Remove burrs and smooth parts according to work order specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for irregularities and report issues to Quality Assurance.
- Production Tracking: Accurately log work hours, completed parts, and scrap/waste.
- Efficiency: Meet production goals for "Planned vs. Actual" hours and waste reduction.
- Safety: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all shop regulations.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 1–3 months in manufacturing preferred.
- Skills: Strong eye-hand coordination and the ability to read technical drawings/manuals.
- Physical: Ability to stand, bend, or sit for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs frequently.
Job Specifics:
- Pay: $17/hr
- Schedule: 6:30AM to 3:00PM - Mon-Fri
- PPE: Steel toes, glasses, hearing protection will be provided
