River Street Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing practice!

We are a two-doctor, all-women dental office that takes pride in providing excellent patient care while maintaining a positive, respectful, and supportive team environment. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team where communication, professionalism, and having fun at work all matter.

Position Details

  • Position: Dental Assistant
  • Schedule: Flexible!
    • Preferred: 3-day work week
    • We also offer a Monday–Thursday schedule for the right candidate
  • Pay: Competitive and flexible based on experience and qualifications
  • Experience: Dental assisting experience preferred
  • Radiology certification: Required
  • EFDA: Preferred
  • No weekends!

Responsibilities

  • Assist doctors during restorative, crown, emergency, and other dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as permitted by certification
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
  • Maintain proper infection control and sterilization procedures
  • Seat and prepare patients for treatment
  • Assist with patient education and post-operative instructions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
  • Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized
  • Communicate effectively with doctors and the rest of the team
  • Help create a welcoming and comfortable experience for our patients
  • Follow all office protocols and OSHA/infection-control standards
  • Support the team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
