Your Impact

Join Valcom’s production team and run the automated lines that assemble the circuit boards powering mission‑critical paging, intercom, and emergency communication systems used in schools, hospitals, and public spaces.

Schedule & Pay Perks
  • Core shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 pm–2:30 am (four‑day work week)
  • Frequent overtime on Friday; occasional Saturday as needed
  • $1.00/hour shift differential for second shift
  • Have your mornings free—sleep in, run errands, or take appointments before your 4:00 pm start
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, set up, and perform changeovers on SMT and through‑hole assembly equipment
  • Configure, program, and calibrate machine parameters for diverse PCB layouts and components
  • Conduct in‑process inspections to verify workmanship and quality standards
  • Maintain materials at the line and complete scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment or process issues with teammates to sustain throughput and quality
Work Environment
  • Clean, climate‑controlled manufacturing facility with low to moderate noise
  • Hands‑on role with frequent movement between workstations

Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting instincts
  • Meticulous attention to detail—quality is non‑negotiable
  • Basic computer skills; able to read and follow written instructions in English
  • Flexible teammate who can adapt to changing priorities and cross‑train
  • Physically able to stand for a 10‑hour shift, lift up to 25 lbs, and handle small parts and hand tools
  • Willingness to work overtime—frequently Friday, sometimes Saturday
  • Experience helpful but not required—we train for capability and attitude
