Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar school-based role preferred
- Comfortable providing individualized (1:1) support to students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt guidance and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliability and a team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one assistance to students with diverse learning needs, as directed by instructional staff
- Help implement tailored educational and behavioral plans
- Encourage engagement and independence in classroom activities
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a supportive learning environment
- Monitor and support students during instructional and non-instructional times (e.g., transitions, lunch)
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and challenges
