Occupational Therapist / COTA – Elementary School | Short-Term Opportunity

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based services at an elementary school through November. This is a great opportunity for a clinician looking for a short-term assignment in a supportive, student-centered environment.

You’ll work directly with students to help them develop the skills they need to successfully participate in the classroom and school environment, while collaborating with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Support students with fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-regulation, and functional skills
  • Implement therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school-based professionals
  • Document services and monitor student progress
  • Participate as needed in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

Qualifications:

  • OT: Current state OT license and required degree
  • COTA: Current state COTA certification/license
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
