Kelly Services is seeking a Trade Compliance / Import-Export Analyst to join a leading global manufacturing organization in Greensboro, NC.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in trade compliance, customs, import/export, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or supply chain analytics.
If you're highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and enjoy researching discrepancies and solving problems, we'd like to hear from you.
You do NOT need experience in every area of trade compliance to be considered. Strong candidates with import/export, logistics, supply chain, or analytical experience are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do- Review and maintain import/export and trade compliance data across internal systems and customs platforms.
- Review customs entries and documentation for accuracy.
- Research discrepancies involving shipments, tariffs, duties, importer information, and other trade data.
- Work with internal teams, customs brokers, suppliers, and other partners to resolve issues.
- Gather and organize customs entry documentation and supporting records.
- Assist with customs compliance reviews, audits, and post-entry activities.
- Support USMCA documentation and Section 232 data requests.
- Track entry and liquidation information and assist with duty recovery and refund activities.
- Analyze large amounts of data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Support reporting and analytics using Power BI when applicable.
- Partner with Customs & Trade Compliance, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, and other internal teams.
- Assist with process improvements designed to increase data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with large amounts of data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and reconcile data.
- Ability to research discrepancies and follow issues through resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
