Job Title: Plant General
Location: Strongsville OH 44149
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (1st shift)
Pay Rate: USD 17.00 per hour
Contract Type: TTH

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a light manufacturing work environment is preferred
  • Good communication skills exhibiting ability to interact with production co-workers, plant staff, and management personnel
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and complete all stages of the fabrication and finishing process, including cutting, shaping, sanding, assembling, coating, and finishing wood products using machinery, tools, and UV equipment
  • Ensure product quality by verifying dimensions, inspecting materials for defects, and performing related duties as assigned
  • Responsible for general labor duties including cleaning, painting, labeling, hauling pallets, etc.
  • Maintain acceptable housekeeping, meet and exceed safety standards, and fulfill training requirements
  • Assist operators with changeovers, set ups, adjustments for production activities, and shut-down operations as needed
  • Relieve into production roles as trained and assigned
  • Maintain all equipment in a non-maintenance capacity including cleaning during down periods
  • Complete all job assignments including preventive maintenance assignments
  • Work may include overtime on a daily basis and some weekends
  • Use personal protective equipment consistently and properly
  • Must be able to climb stairs, stand for periods of 2–3 hours, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Information:
  • Positions available on the day shift and night shift crews
  • Work is performed primarily inside the plant with possible seasonal temperature fluctuations
  • This is a light manufacturing environment with a strong commitment to staff safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and production objectives
