Key qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Florida SLP licensure (CCC required)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to various school environments
  • Background clearance/fingerprinting (can utilize AHCA Clearinghouse if previously printed)

Position highlights:

  • Manage a single school caseload per assignment: Manatee Academy, Palm Pointe, or Ft. Pierce Central
  • Support K–8 students at Manatee or Palm Pointe (MAT leave coverage, excellent SLP team, ASD units)
  • Serve high school students at Ft. Pierce Central (MAT leave, collaborate with on-site SLPA)
  • 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Opportunities for leadership and mentorship within collaborative teams
