We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily field operations and ensure every home is built safely, on schedule, within budget, and to our quality standards.
Position Summary
The Site Supervisor serves as Cottage Advisors' field leader, coordinating all on-site construction activities while working closely with our Scheduling Coordinator, Project Managers, Purchasing, Sales, Warranty team, and subcontractors. This position is responsible for maintaining production schedules, quality control, jobsite safety, subcontractor performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute construction schedules in coordination with the Scheduling Coordinator.
· Manage daily jobsite operations, subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and material flow.
· Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
· Ensure all construction phases meet Company quality standards before work progresses.
· Complete and verify Buildertrend checklists, daily logs, photos, schedules, and documentation.
· Review completed subcontractor work and recommend payment only after verifying quality and checklist completion.
· Maintain clean, organized, secure, and OSHA-compliant jobsites.
· Conduct homeowner walkthroughs and professionally represent Cottage Advisors with customers, inspectors, and vendors.
· Communicate schedule changes, field issues, and project progress to the management team.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of residential construction supervisory experience.
· Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building codes.
· Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software preferred.
· Valid driver's license.
· Maine Construction Supervisor License preferred or ability to obtain.
