Controls Engineer

The Controls Engineer Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting logic for various makes and models of PLC. Reading electrical schematics in order to diagnose controls related machine issues. Maintain backups of equipment programs (i.e. PLC, HMI, Robot, Memory cards). Help develop and implement countermeasures and other improvement activities related to Safety, Quality, and Production.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities*

• Troubleshooting logic for various makes and models of PLC. (Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens, & Keyence)
• Read electrical schematics to diagnose controls related machine issues.
• Maintain backups of equipment programs (i.e., PLC, HMI, Robot, Memory cards).
• Help develop and implement countermeasures and other improvement activities related to Safety, Quality, and Production.
• Develop and implement PLC & HMI logic.
• Robot Program Development. (Motoman, Fanuc, Panasonic, OTC Daihen, & ABB)
• Maintain legacy code for AIDA, H&F, Seyi press lines and for robotic welding cells.
• Manage projects that require outside contractors to be on site.
• Assist onsite facilities with equipment upgrades and installations.

Must be able to work in USA.

Must be able to travel.
