Accounting Manager

A growing publicly traded company in North Austin is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations, oversee a small team, and drive process improvements within a dynamic and evolving environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close activities, reconciliations, and journal entry review
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit activities
• Partner with treasury, finance, and operational leaders across the business
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with financial reporting and accounting policy initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor staff
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Public company experience
• SOX compliance experience
• Oracle or large ERP system experience
