Auto Body Shop Estimator

Precision Auto Works of LIC, located in Queens , has a full-time Estimator position available. A NYS appraiser's license is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
• Writing estimates and supplements in CCC.
• Ordering parts.
• Meeting with Adjusters.
• Creating and maintaining highly professional industry, insurance/DRP relationships.
• Job Scheduling.
• Cost containment/job profit maximization.
• Willing to commit to employer sponsored continuous education as needed to learn and stay up to date with OEM repair procedures.
• Ability to negotiate.
• Communicate with various teams that are involved in the vehicle orientation process.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to management through appropriate channels when needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
• High attention to detail.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience
