Dental Treatment Coordinator – Periodontics & Implant Dentistry
$28–$38 per hour | Dental Experience Required
West Valley Implant Dental Practice is seeking an experienced, personable, and motivated Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our periodontal and implant team.

We are a patient-focused periodontal and implant practice committed to providing exceptional clinical care and an outstanding patient experience. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator who is organized, compassionate, confident, and able to build trust with patients while guiding them through their treatment journey.
Previous dental office experience is REQUIRED for this position.
What You’ll Do
As our Treatment Coordinator, you will be an important connection between our doctors, patients, and clinical team. You will help patients understand their recommended treatment, answer questions, discuss financial arrangements, and guide them from consultation through treatment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Present periodontal, implant, and surgical treatment plans in a clear, confident, and compassionate manner
- Review recommended treatment, fees, insurance estimates, and payment options with patients
- Help patients understand the importance and value of their recommended care
- Answer treatment and financial questions and address patient concerns
- Follow up with patients who have not yet scheduled recommended treatment
- Help patients overcome financial, scheduling, or other barriers to moving forward with care
- Coordinate treatment appointments and help maintain an efficient schedule
- Maintain accurate treatment plans, notes, and patient records
- Assist with dental insurance verification and benefit estimates as needed
- Track outstanding and unscheduled treatment and provide consistent follow-up
- Communicate effectively with doctors, clinical team members, patients, and referring dental offices
- Provide an exceptional patient experience from the initial consultation through completion of treatment
What We’re Looking For
Dental experience is a MUST.
Because this position involves discussing complex dental treatment with patients, applicants must have a solid understanding of dental terminology, procedures, treatment plans, and dental office operations.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Previous dental office experience – REQUIRED
- Treatment Coordinator experience strongly preferred
- Experience presenting dental treatment plans
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Periodontal, implant, oral surgery, or specialty dental experience is highly preferred
- Experience discussing treatment fees, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements
- Strong patient follow-up and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A warm, professional, and confident personality
- Ability to build trust and rapport with patients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable using dental software and computer systems
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- A positive attitude and genuine commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation & Benefits
$28.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Candidates with significant experience presenting complex periodontal and implant treatment plans may qualify toward the higher end of the range.
