What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality medical care, diagnostics, and treatment for companion animals
- Perform routine and complex medical examinations and develop treatment plans
- Perform soft tissue surgery and dental procedures (orthopedic procedures based on experience)
- Prescribe medications and recommend preventive care protocols
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical records within AVImark
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice culture
- Stay current on veterinary best practices and continuing education
Education & Licensure
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nebraska (within 60 days of start date)
Experience, Fit & Training
- Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Structured mentorship available
