POSITION AVAILABLE
Pain and Disability Institute PC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary rehabilitation and pain management practice in Jersey City, New Jersey.
ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
For more than four decades, our practice has provided comprehensive evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, and chronic pain conditions. We offer a unique multidisciplinary environment that includes:
• Board-certified physicians in sports medicine and pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation
• Nurse practitioners
• Physical therapy
• MRI
• Digital X-ray
• EMG/NCV testing
• Musculoskeletal ultrasound
• Vascular diagnostic testing
• Interventional pain management procedures

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, spine, neurological, sports medicine, and chronic pain conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, gait training, and functional rehabilitation
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation as per required guidelines and practice parameters by APTA
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding patient progress
• Participate in discharge planning and outcome assessment
• Develop individualized treatment plans

QUALIFICATIONS
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey
• Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal skills preferred
• Experience with spine rehabilitation and chronic pain management preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
