Industrial Controls Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
When most of Florida sleeps, you keep critical manufacturing assets running. As an on-site Industrial Controls Maintenance Electrician at Pall Corporation (a Danaher company) in DeLand, FL, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and own the electrical health of our production equipment.
Schedule & compensation: Sunday night–Friday morning, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, plus overtime as needed. Pay: $28–$35/hour, plus a $1.50/hour shift differential.
A night in the role- Walk down the line with operators to confirm readiness, resolve alarms, and fine-tune performance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on PLC- and CNC-driven systems; complete safe, spec-compliant installations using manufacturer and engineering documentation.
- Execute preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance concepts.
- At least 1 year of journeyman-level experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with single- and three (3)-phase industrial power and distribution.
- Climb, stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for up to 8 hours per day.
- Lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with steel microfibers.
- Hands-on with CNCs, PLCs, and low-voltage controls.
- Technical certificate, apprenticeship, or military equivalent.
