On the Rocks Italian Bistro is looking for positive, eager to serve, and detail-oriented individuals for our front-of-the-house service team. As an OTR team-member your purpose will be two-fold: (1) to give every guest a multi-sensory experience that makes them come back for more, often; AND (2) be an effective part of a service team that produces a satisfactory product every single time.

Position Summary

As a Server Assistant, you'll keep the guest experience smooth and seamless. You'll support the service team by resetting tables, running food, and making sure everything stays clean, stocked, and ready. In our fast-paced, high-energy environment, your hustle helps us deliver five-star service with efficiency and great vibes — whether it's a busy lunch shift or a private event night.

Key Responsibilities

%A0; Quickly and thoroughly reset tables for the next guests.

%A0; Assist servers by running food, refilling water, and delivering condiments or extras.

%A0; Keep the dining areas clean and organized.

%A0; Clear used dishes and glassware from tables and return them to the dish station.

%A0; Restock service areas with napkins, silverware, glassware, and supplies.

%A0; Support the team with event setup, breakdown, or special service needs.

%A0; Help monitor guest needs and alert servers when attention is required.

%A0; Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

%A0; No experience required — just a great attitude and willingness to learn.

%A0; Strong work ethic and ability to move quickly and efficiently.

%A0; Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

%A0; Attention to detail and cleanliness.

%A0; Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, and stand for long periods.

%A0; Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

%A0; Food Handlers Certification.

%A0; TABC Certification.

We hope to officially open our doors by September 1st, and have already begun training the Back-of-the-House team. Hiring of Front-of-House team members will be ongoing, with an initial group orientation scheduled for August 16th.
