Unarmed Security Officer – Multiple Assignments
Safety Host Unit is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers for assignments throughout Los Angeles County.
Our officers support a variety of environments, including private estates, corporate properties, special events, residential communities, construction sites, entertainment venues, and other client locations.
Responsibilities include: Maintain a professional security presence
Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
Perform access control and guest verification
Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
Prepare clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports Respond appropriately to client and site concerns
Provide professional, courteous interaction with clients, guests, employees, and the public
Follow post orders and Safety Host Unit operational procedures
Requirements:
-Valid California BSIS Guard Card
-Reliable transportation
-Reliable and punctual attendance
-Professional appearance and communication skills
-Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
-Ability to work independently and follow written post orders
-Smartphone with reliable communication access
-Availability for various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and special events
Prior security experience is preferred but not required for all assignments. Additional certifications, military experience, law enforcement experience, customer service experience, and event security experience are a plus.
Compensation: $19.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on assignment, experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
